Just change the overall configuration of the game to allow the maximum number of recruits and squads (that says forgotten construction set) you can put a higher number but I do not know if it works. I've searched google, steam, the forums and reddit endlessly looking for the save edit parameter to give myself more cats? Am I oblivious or is this not a possible thing? American truck simulator cheat engine funktioniert nicht.
Sorry if this has been dealt with in the past, I just couldn't find a direct answer to this question.
Edit: It seems the easiest way to give your save more money is to do what Aviticus said below; create a mod with edited sale values of an item and give yourself plenty of that item. Load the game, sell the items, save the game, unload the mod, reload save. Profit.
